Theo Walcott is due back for Arsenal when they square off against Tottenham on September 27th. This should be the most welcome news Arsenal fans have received since they signed Alexis Sanchez.

When Walcott returns, that will give Arsenal the fastest attacking force in the EPL by far. With Ox living up to his gobs of potential and Alexis Sanchez shining as a speedy workhorse, Arsenal also added Danny Welbeck, who’s speed and quickness has never been in doubt.

And now Walcott is due back?

That’s almost not fair. Consider if Arsenal have all four (Walcott, Ox, Sanchez and Welbeck) on the pitch at one time. Opposing team’s defenses would be in tatters, from Burnley to Manchester City.

Theo Walcott scored 21 times in 43 combined appearances in his healthy 2012-2013 season before missing out on the majority of 2013-2014 with an ACL tear. He had already scored 6 goals in 18 appearances before going down.

He’s an established finisher with some of the best speed in European football and he could very easily make Arsenal the title favorites if he can remain healthy. Arsenal need multiple goal scoring options seeing as how they don’t have a prolific No. 9, and having Walcott added to the mix gives them a handful of guys that have proven that they can put the ball into the back of the net.

If Walcott and the rest of the key figures can remain healthy, Arsenal’s attack is the best in the EPL and with a solid defense (albeit a thinly-staffed one), they will quickly emerge as title favorites despite all the naysayers.

Arsenal are unbeaten now and they have not looked good in the process, so just picture what will happen when they start meshing just as Walcott returns. It will be utter dominance.
