Arsenal are back in action against Bournemouth after the dour draw against Southampton. The team needs all three points, and here’s how they may line up.

Thus far this year, the Premier League has not been too kind to Arsenal. As of late, the Gunners seem a shadow of the team that showed glimpses of being worthy of the title prior to the new year. Arsenal have picked up only one win over their last five games in the Premier League.

During the same stretch, they suffered yet another defeat at the hands of Chelsea, and drew winnable games against the likes of Liverpool, Stoke City and Southampton. Despite still being very much alive in the title race, those dismal results have been made to look worse by Leicester City, who continue to surprise everyone with their five point lead at the top of the table.

Having dropped so many points in recent games, Arsenal will need to bag all three points when they take on Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Sunday. The good news for Arsenal is that their injury list that once left the squad without depth is finally beginning to subside. Just in time for the Premier League run-in.

More from Pain in the Arsenal

Key players such as Alexis Sanchez and Francis Coquelin have been drafted back into the starting eleven in the past couple of weeks. Striker Danny Welbeck feature for the Arsenal-U21 team in midweek after a nine-month layoff, and Jack Wilshere is finally back in training.

For this match, Arsenal will need to be focused against a team that has already beaten top-four opposition this season. Here’s how the squad is predicted to line up against Bournemouth.
