5. The Beginning of Something Great
Henry came to Arsenal from Juventus as a left winger. He was coming off a particularly down year. After five incredibly disappointing starts, numerous unflattering nicknames and no goals to speak of, Henry was dropped from the starting XI.
But the first goal came as a substitute against Southampton, and the second would follow just one match later. After getting his feet wet a little, Henry would go on to score 24 goals after November, including a 9-goal streak between Arsenal and the French National team.
The greatest striker we’d ever seen was beginning what would be an unforgettable tenure.
