Gonzalo Higuain and 5 Players Arsenal Shouldn’t Sign
Gonzalo Higuain
In one of Pain in the Arsenal’s recent transfer articles, it was stated that Gonzalo Higuain could be involved in a £43.4 million move to the Emirates. While it’s hard to believe that the price could be that high, Higuain to Arsenal isn’t a one-time link.

We’ve seen too much of it.
Nowadays many call Olivier Giroud out for not being a world class striker, and while I think he’s a fabulous player and an excellent asset for Arsenal, I don’t think he is world class. But neither is Gonzalo Higuain.
Although he may be a clinical finisher, the 27-year-old Argentine doesn’t seem to offer much more than that. Yes, he does have a great goalscoring record, but right now, a poacher isn’t what Arsenal need.
From other strikers that we’ve been linked with — Benzema or Cavani, for example — it’s clear that fans want a striker with a combination of power and pace in addition to just finishing ability. For this reason, I don’t think Higuain would be a good signing, especially if the price is as high as £43.4 million.
