Alexandre Lacazette
My reasons for not wanting to sign Lacazette are similar to those previously mentioned in the William Carvalho section.

Let’s not deny that Lacazette had an unbelievable season, scoring 31 goals in all competition for Lyon and leading them to a second-place finish and Champions League football. But no one is more expensive than a guy who has just had a breakout season. Now consider that Lacazette was involved in 33 of Lyon’s 72 goals in the past campaign (about 46%), and then you’ll begin to understand how important Lacazette is to Lyon.
You couldn’t blame them for slapping a huge price tag on him.
Now again, when you look at the fact that he has only made 8 appearances for the France senior squad on the international stage, you have to understand that Lacazette is a risk as well.
I think the best thing to do with Lacazette is to wait a season and see how he performs in the Champions League and then think about whether he’s worth a hefty sum.
