So as you can see, I am not very keen on signing any big players. For all the five players I’ve mentioned, a high transfer fee plays a role in my disinclination to buy any of them. Obviously, experience and the current squad also play a role as well, but price is evidently a key factor.

To be honest, I am not sure which players I would actively want to sign; it seems that so far I have only identified players that I would not like to see in the Arsenal side next year.

I think we really missed out on Sami Khedira, who would have brought experience and quality for free. That is a signing I think would have been well worth it.

As I’ve said, we don’t need to make huge signings this season. With the squad we have, in addition to maybe a couple of signings as first-team cover, we really look like title contenders.
