The Injured Back No. 3: Nacho Monreal (LB)

To have to type the injured back #3 kind of hurts me a little bit. Between all three backs, Arsenal have a great group of players but as the title suggest all of them get hurt way to often. Monreal was amazing near the end of the season, and when reports came out that he might leave it crushed me.

But now that I have had some time to think things through, Monreal was quite terrible the begin the season, and although he is a smart player and puts in a lot of effort, he also makes a lot of mistakes that make all of us want to pull our hair out.

Monreal IS NOT LEAVING for one simple reason. Depth at Left back and center back. as the Spaniard showed us last year, he is versatile and can provide crucial depth at every position along the back.
