Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain scored the only goal of the match, and what a goal it was. In case you missed it, or just because it was so awesome, take a look.

Keeping in mind that the Ox is only 22 years old, the composure that he shows and the confidence to loft that ball into the top corner away from the enormous wingspan of Thibaut Courtois is absolutely amazing. We always knew the Ox was going to be something special and this is going to be the year that he finally solidifies it.

Often prone to mistakes, the English attacker has been near perfect for the duration of preseason and that continued against Chelsea. While he still has a heavy first touch at times, his speed often allows him to make amends. If a heavy first touch is the only critique of a 22-year old, then we have a pretty good player on our hands.

Needless to say, if the Ox plays like this all year, he is going to reach great heights.
