Although £5.5 is the most expensive goalkeeper price, there isn’t that big of a price difference between the top-tier keepers and the lower ones, which means that spending £5.5 isn’t at all misguided.

At £5.5 I think that Petr Cech might just be the best keeper you can get. Last year, signing an Arsenal keeper was potentially tricky due to the patches where you weren’t sure whether it would be Ospina or Szczesny, but this year, it’s fair to say that Cech will be Arsenal’s #1.

One major reason to sign the Czech international is that our back line has seemed a lot more solid in recent games, and this is a huge factor in signing a keeper. But then you look at his shot-stopping ability and the high possibility of bonus points, and it becomes a no-brainer.
