5 Burning Questions After Arsenal’s 0-0 Draw with Liverpool
1. How can Oxlade-Chamberlain Possibly be on the Bench?
I simply cannot wrap my head around this one.
It seems that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is consistently one of the best — if not the best — players on the pitch every time he steps into a game. Apart from Alexis, he is one of the only Arsenal players who isn’t afraid to take it to the opposition and run by defenders.

Against West Ham, he was undoubtedly Arsenal’s star man. Against Palace, his appearance saw him as one of the biggest threats on the field. And yet he didn’t get the start against Liverpool. He wasn’t even the first guy off the bench.
And when he came on, he looked like one of the few players who could get Arsenal a goal.
Of course, we have to ask who he would replace. But to be quite frank, I don’t really care. Whether it’s Ramsey or Cazorla, I don’t really mind. The bottom line is that we need Oxlade-Chamberlain on the field.
When we talk about Arsenal’s play not being direct enough, we have one painfully obvious solution, and that is this man. He’s got everything: power, pace, quick feet, and the desire to make his mark on a game.
We need him to start games as soon as possible.
