Among all the wonderkids Arsenal have nabbed this off season, the cheapest was Ajax product Donyell Malen but for the price, he may have the most upside. Let’s start with the all-important montage:

Young Mr. Malen is represented by the infamous Mino Riola, who described his client as ‘phenomenal.’ That is high praise from a man who has represented the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Donyell Malen has a nose for goal and he has excellent agility and speed as well. He has shown all of these facets already in his young career.

Only 16 years of age, Malen was also scouted by Barcelona but Arsenal won out and will reward the young prodigy with a professional contract when he turns 17.

For a price of just £70,000, Malen could very well turn out to be the ‘coup’ this signing has been described as.
