Arsenal’s FIFA 16 Player Ratings Dissected
By Josh Sippie
Nacho Monreal – 80, Kieran Gibbs – 80
Pain in the Arsenal pegged both Monreal and Gibbs at 77 based on a couple concepts. First of all, no one really knows who is better between the two. Therefore their rating should be the same. We got that part right. The part we did not get right is how highly EA Sports would think of our two left backs. Instead of doing their usual one point bids, EA Sports went big, giving Gibbs 2 more points and Monreal 4 more points.

That is ambitious from EA Sports, especially seeing as how Kieran Gibbs did very little to impress last year. Not only that, but did Monreal really work his way up 4 points? He definitely improved but that seems oddly generous of the FIFA overlords.
Arsene Wenger has a great stock of full backs and it is nice to see that EA Sports is giving them their due credit. giving them 6 points combined might be overkill credit, but we deserve a nice dosage of overrate from time to time.
