Arsenal really have problems getting started on the right foot in the Champion’s League. Not just in the group stages, but in just about every other stage as well. Whether it is Monaco or Bayern Munich, Arsenal come out looking like they are brand new to European football and end up making it an impossible journey.

Arsenal absolutely must figure out a way to come out like they have intentions of winning. If they dally around too much they may well find themselves clawing and scraping to pull themselves over Olympiacos or Zagreb.

Bayern Munich are not going to drop unnecessary points and the longer that Arsenal let the Croatians and the Greeks hang around, the more they are going to believe they can make it out of the group. And then it is Arsenal that falls, not Munich.
