Arsenal’s Predicted Starters Against Swansea City
By Josh Sippie
Petr Cech
Leave it to Arsenal’s makeshift defense to put Petr Cech in three separate scenarios where he cannot make a save. That is exactly what they did. Cech has easily asserted himself as a resurgent world-class keeper that has been one of the best backstops in the league all year.

The problem against Sheffield Wednesday was not in Petr Cech. It was in the situations that Arsenal put him in. The goals were impossible to stop given that the defense was simply not where it needed to be.
Petr Cech will be happy to return to Premier League action, where he will have Arsenal’s token defense back in play in front of him. He will not have to worry about Debuchy getting caught out of position or the lack of pace that the duo of Per Mertesacker and Calum Chambers delivers.
Expect Cech to return to the clean sheet column. Swansea may be a quality side that is capable of some pretty special things this year but they are struggling. It took all the gumption they could muster to put down Aston Villa.
Moving on, let’s get to the position where we have the best tandem in the world.
