GRANIT XHAKACM, Arsenal
Spare me your biased hatred. Granit Xhaka had one glaringly poor moment when he let Dele Alli run in behind him, but aside from that, he wasn’t terrible like some players were terrible. His passing was composed, he was a controlling force. He didn’t do enough, granted, but who did?
MOHAMED ELNENYCM, Arsenal
Did not belong. He brought nothing to this match. He plays with his back to the opposing goal. That’s something you should say of your target-man striker, not your fricking defensive midfielder. Didn’t take a single shot or create a single chance. Didn’t complete a single tackle or interception. he brought nothing to the game. So why then does he deserve a rating?
JACK WILSHERECM, Arsenal
Hit and miss all match. Defensively, he was rather woeful. Gave Spurs’ midfielders way too much space to do whatever the hell they wanted. Offensively, he provided a Cazorla-like security in how well he can manipulate tight spaces. His shot was the only real threat this club mustered.
