No. 10 and Striker

Arsenal. AARON RAMSEY. 4.0. One of the worst players on the pitch, if not the worst player on the pitch. Anonymous for large portions of the game, only having 21 completed passes, less than half of Torreira, Xhaka and Ozil at the time that he was substituted. Moreover, what he did do wasn’t very good. He created no chances, lost the ball five times, more than any other player at the time of his exit, and didn’t even attempt a dribble, nevermind complete one. He doesn’t fit the system.. CAM

Two excellent moments for the two goals. His physical presence and movement caused Craig Cathcart difficulty as the defender tried to clear. That led to Cathcart inadvertently clattering the ball into his own net. He then teed up Ozil with an excellent square pass in the dying moments. But he also missed a series of good chances before that point and could very easily have been blamed had Arsenal not earned the victory. Still, he produced when it mattered most, even if he didn’t actually score.. ST. Arsenal. ALEXANDRE LACAZETTE. 6.5
