Attack

All of a sudden, this is the most exciting place in the starting XI yet again. And that’s even knowing that we may see none of the same guys starting against Olympiakos as we had starting against Newcastle.

But Nicolas Pepe should start again. How can you not? I get that he worked his arse off over the weekend, and we’ll be wanting him to work his arse off yet again this coming weekend, but he hasn’t played much recently, and given how much pent up fire he has I don’t think he’ll have any issue playing three games within about eight days of each other. All the more to score goals with.

Elsewhere, Gabriel Martinelli will get back into the starting XI. He was dropped against Newcastle and didn’t get onto the pitch at all, and seeing this attack thrive without him, he will be hungry to get back out there and prove that he can do even more than what this club was able to do against Newcastle.

Lastly, Alexandre Lacazette will be back in the starting striker role. I’m not going to say there’s a lot of pressure on him, but there is a lot of pressure on him. We don’t need to see another goal drought begin. Or just another confidence drought. Get in there with confidence.
