Arsenal controlled the game from kick-off to the final whistle and the scoreline reflected their supremacy.

Brentford is a tough game away from home (just ask United) as we found out in a 2-0 defeat on opening night last season. They’re a good team and to control and dominate the match without some key players in the lineup was so impressive.

Positive #6: Record-breaking Ethan Nwaneri

He’s grabbing the headlines but to see 15-year-old Hale Ender, Ethan Nwaneri, make his Arsenal debut and become the youngest player ever to play in the Premier League was very cool. He only got a few minutes of action and one touch of the ball but it was very special to see a kid that young (younger than the Emirates!!!!) get an opportunity.

Hopefully, this is far from the last time we see him on the pitch and it’ll be exciting to watch him develop.

Overall, this was a fantastic performance and result for Arsenal ahead of the September international break. A thrilling North London Derby awaits.
