Ferran Torres appeared destined to have a huge World Cup before Spain’s campaign quickly fizzled out. He’s since returned to Barcelona with reports emerging that the financially-stricken club are ready to move on from the former Manchester City man.

The Spaniard certainly didn’t flop at the Etihad and there have been times during his spell in Catalonia when Ferran has looked like a world-beater. He’s an incredibly useful outlet who’s versatile and strikes the ball cleanly.

Arteta would certainly appreciate the 22-year-old’s impressive technical quality and I think the Arsenal boss is capable of maximising Ferran’s lofty potential. Barça may demand a rather large fee, however.
