Wilshere and Frimpong resume full training

Arsenal have been handed a major boost to their midfield as Jack Wilshere and Emmanuel Frimpong have resumed full training after long-term injuries. Wilshere missed the entire 2011/12 campaign after injuring his ankle in the Emirates Cup against the New York Red Bulls. Frimpong injured a cruciate ligament whilst on loan at Wolves last season and has been out of action since February.

These two players were both out for a long time so of course you have to give them time. But their return, whenever that may be, will give Wenger even more options in an already packed midfield. Wilshere had a fantastic season in 2010/11 and broke into the England side too. In the summer, he missed out on Euro 2012 due to this injury. He also changed his squad number to number 10 from 19  following the departure of Robin Van Persie to Manchester United. He has been missed as he offers so much to the team. I for one can’t wait to see him back in Arsenal colours!.
