Back home – Quick thoughts on Villa away

Hi everyone,

I’m back home after a few months away in Chicago. Good to be back home, but sad to leave the States too.

On my final day on the other side of the pond I dedicated much of it to watching Arsenal away to Aston Villa. Quite frankly I wish I hadn’t bothered. Both sides were poor and the game was certainly one that will be forgotten very quickly.

Villa had a goal disallowed and hit the bar. Arsenal had some minor chances. It is certainly not a game I will waste my time typing about when I’m still jetlagged.

Just thought I’d post this to tell you all I’m home safely and was disappointed in yesterdsay’s performance and result against a side that may well have a relegation battle on their hands this season. Arsenal are ten points behind Man United already, who are leading the table on 30 points.

Villa vs Arsenal was a snoozefest yesterday. And typically it pissed down with rain too, something that will have made the travelling fans even more unhappy.
