Predicted Premier League: 10th

We’re halfway to the top now, in the fabled top half of the Premier League. With it comes another London side, with Crystal Palace building on an impressive end to last season.

Team: Crystal Palace

Manager: Tony Pulis

Having kept Stoke in the Premier League playing the same resilient football he was released by the club as they searched for better football. He took over Palace when they looked like they were down and out last season, and he really did turn the club around. They were far more solid at the back and he actually turned players like Daniel Gabbidon into solid Premier League players.

Key Player: Errrr…

Quite simply there isn’t a single player that stands out above the rest in this squad. They a couple of decent Premier League players but they never really seem to have one player picking it out of nowhere. Speroni was a solid keeper last year, Hangeland is a solid signing and Mile Jedinak is a very solid midfielder, but none of them are truly above the rest of the team.

Best feature: All for one and one for All

Every single player of this team is ready to give 100% for the team at any given time, and Pulis is a very shrewd operator. He will know how to get the most out of each player and will get every result possible. If his team don’t perform in a match, it will not be from lack of effort on the pitch.

Worst Feature: Predictable

More from EPL News

Like most clubs that don’t have a true star player, they are predictable in their approach to the game. Because of this they will struggle to score a lot of goals in a game, and if they go behind they will struggle to outscore the opposition.

PIA Writer’s opinions:

BW: “The worst thing is to stand still in the premier league, but that is what Crystal Palace has done and I don’t see them doing as well as last year, 13th”
