Arsenal needed three points to top the group, and naturally, they could not pull off more than a draw. Here are the player ratings.

Arsenal didn’t do what they needed to do, and that’s incredibly frustrating. They just needed to not do what they did against Manchester United and, unfortunately, that’s exactly what they did.

The Gunner’s came out incredibly lethargic and looked uninterested, like the game didn’t concern them. They turned it on late, but it wasn’t enough, as they finished the game with just one shot on target.

Can’t really be mad. He didn’t do anything ridiculously wrong and he yet again made Edinson Cavani look rather silly. Did have a few nervy moments but none of them came back to bite him.. GK. Arsenal. DAVID OSPINA. 7.1

7.0. We were definitely missing Hector Bellerin this time around. Carl Jenkinson just wasn’t quick enough to make as much of an impact from wide angles as the young Spaniard does. Still solid defensively though.. RB. Arsenal. CARL JENKINSON

CB. Arsenal. SHKODRAN MUSTAFI. 6.8. Got caught out a bit too much for my liking. I always boast of his athleticism, but he was on the back foot for a lot of PSG’s attack.

CB. Arsenal. LAURENT KOSCIELNY. 7.2. Good but not great. Definitely looked shaky, especially early on (namely his first pass) but he made enough clutch tackles to make up for it.

7.5. Rather quiet on the left side, but that’s not bad for a defender. Saved a goal on the line, which gained him major bonus points.. LB. Arsenal. KIERAN GIBBS

6.4. Not impressed. Nope. Looked very slow, sloppy and gave the ball up rather stupidly at times. Did not belong in this game and proved why we have Granit Xhaka… again.. CM. Arsenal. FRANCIS COQUELIN

7.8. MAN OF THE MATCH. I’m going to get my head chewed off for this man of then match, but who else did more? You put Ramsey in the middle and look what he did. No one had more tackles. No one did more going forward. And I feel confident saying that.. RM. Arsenal. AARON RAMSEY

Arsenal. ALEXIS SANCHEZ. 7.3. The effort is always there but sometimes you need more than just effort. Frequently overplayed passes and often times looked stumped.. LM

MID. Arsenal. ALEX IWOBI. 5.1. Awful. This was the worst we have seen Alex Iwobi and if Wenger knows what’s good for him, he will not play him for a while. Should have gotten an own goal, frequently drilled himself into corners that he just couldn’t get out of.

CAM. Arsenal. MESUT OZIL. 7.1. Another bad day from Ozil. Couldn’t seem to find any space and created all of one chance.

7.3. Have to give him credit for putting the penalty away, which is no given (just look at the our recent history). Had zero service to work with, and that is always going to mean a quiet day from the big guy.. ST. Arsenal. OLIVIER GIROUD

Arsenal FC. THEO WALCOTT. 6.4. Didn’t see much of him. Only had five touches.. MID

6.5. Why this man is a substitute is so far beyond me. Xhaka and Ramsey… please!. SUB, MID. Arsenal FC. GRANIT XHAKA

6.7. Did what he did against United, just without the assist.. SUB. Arsenal. ALEX OXLADE-CHAMBERLAIN
