Boxing Day Match With Wolves Moved Back A Day
Well, fellow Gunners looks like we’ll have Boxing Day off as our match with Wolves has been moved back a day to the 27th due to the tube workers’ strike which is humorously referred to as “industrial action” in this BBC article. Never mind the irony of a strike for industrial machines called an “action,” but there it is.
Although there’s something in the article that makes mentions trains won’t stop in London. Not sure how that works but either way it means we get to sit around and enjoy all the other EPL Boxing Day matches as “neutrals.” Yeah right, “neutral.”
Here’s the full Boxing Day schedule sans our match (all times local British time):
13:00 Chelsea v Fulham
15:00 Bolton v Newcastle
15:00 Liverpool v Blackburn
15:00 Manchester United v Wigan
15:00 Sunderland v Everton
15:00 West Brom v Manchester City
19:45 Stoke City v Aston Villa
Remaining EPL matches the following day on the 27th:
15:00 Arsenal v Wolves
17:00 Swansea City v QPR
19:30 Norwich City v Sp*rs
Ooh, look, Sp*rs get an extra day of shopping in too! That means ol’ Arry Redknapp gets an extra day for his missus to pick up an England snuggie to wear round the house!
