VIDEO: The Best of Olivier Giroud – Welcome to Arsenal

As you will have probably heard, Arsenal completed the signing of French international striker Olivier Giroud from Montpellier yesterday. For those of you that don’t know a lot about him, here is a video showing some of his best bits at his former club. As you will see, he is very good in the air and looks to have a real poacher’s instinct in front of goal.

The Arsenal new boy has made himself popular with the club’s fans already, after he claimed to have rejected Arsenal’s London rivals Chelsea in favour of the move to North London. The Frenchman said:

And I thought it would be easier for my adaptation.“Arsenal is a great club, the facilities are wonderful, but I feel it is a club that takes big care before signing a player, notably considering human values.“There are French players.
