Arsenal name Markus Liebherr Memorial Cup squad.

Arsenal have named their squad for tomorrow’s Markus Liebherr Memorial Cup. The squad, as I said earlier, does not contain any players that featured at this summer’s European Championships. Experienced names such as Andre Santos, Gervinho, Marouane Chamakh, Johan Djourou, Francis Coquelin and Kieran Gibbs are all in the squad though.

Vito Mannone, Kyle Bartley and Henri Lansbury return to Arsenal following loan spells last season. The tournament will also give many Arsenal fans their first sight of some of the club’s youngsters, such as German midfielder Thomas Eisfeld who joined the club from Borussia Dortmund in January, Swedish teenager Kristoffer Olsson and also Kyle Ebecilio, who has impressed in training.
