Giroud reveals squad number.

Olivier Giroud today tweeted his squad number for his new club. His official account retweeted a tweet by Arsenal’s French supporter’s club that revealed his new squad number before using the hashtag #OG12. This means that he will be wearing the number 12 shirt next season. It was last worn of course by the legend that is Thierry Henry, during his loan spell at the club last season.

This has yet to be confirmed by the club, but the fact it has come from Giroud’s official account leads me to believe that it is true. So if you’re planning to get Giroud on your shirts next season, I’d wait for official confirmation from the club to be safe, but this is as good as true.
