Manchester United sign Van Persie (Official)

Manchester United today completed the signing of Robin Van Persie from Arsenal. The news broke two days ago that Van Persie was to travel to Manchester for a medical after the two clubs agreed a fee. United signed the Dutchman in time to register him for their game against Everton on Monday night.

Van Persie said the following after completing his transfer:

"“It’s an honour to sign for Manchester United.I am looking forward to following in the footsteps of so many great strikers, bringing my experience and playing my part to help the team compete for the biggest trophies in the game. I can’t wait to get started.” – Van Persie on joining Manchester United"

Those words prove that every single word he told Arsenal fans about loving our club was a lie. He just doesn’t understand what he has done. He’s a traitor. He is up there with Stapleton, Anelka, Cole, Adebayor, Nasri and many more that have betrayed the club. Good riddance. It sickens me that he wore the armband once, let alone for an entire season. All the good memories have been wiped away with that statement he released and joining Manchester United. Arsene stuck by him through all those injuries and this is how he repays him after having one exceptional season. He’s shown his true colours now.
