Arsenal players on international duty

Carl Jenkinson and Jack Wilshere: Wilshere made his first international appearance since June 2011 after coming on as a 61st minute sub. Jenkinson won his first England cap after he replaced Glen Johnson in the 74th minute. England lost 4-2 to Sweden thanks to four goals from Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Jenkinson made his England debut in their 4-2 defeat to Sweden yesterday.
Laurent Koscielny and Olivier Giroud: Both players started in France’s 2-1 win over Italy. Koscielny played the full 90 minutes, whilst Giroud was subbed after an hour.
Per Mertesacker and Lukas Podolski: Mertesacker played the entire 90 minutes in Germany’s 0-0 draw with Holland, whilst Podolski came on in the 72nd minute.
Johan Djourou: Djourou played the whole game as Switzerland beat Tunisia 2-1 yesterday.
Benik Afobe: Afobe scored from the penalty spot in England U21’s 2-0 win over Northern Ireland’s U21’s on Tuesday.
Santi Cazorla: Cazorla was an unused substitute as Spain beat Panama 5-1.
Nicklas Bendtner: Bendtner scored a penalty in Denmark’s 1-1 draw with Turkey.
Joel Campbell: Campbell opened the scoring in Costa Rica’s 1-1 draw with Bolivia.
