Arsenal’s Giroud appeal turned down by FA

Olivier Giroud will miss 3 out of Arsenal’s final 4 remaining games this season after the FA turned down the appeal for the red card he received at Fulham on Saturday.
The decision was made yesterday afternoon following an FA regulatory commission hearing.
The three-match ban starts with Sunday’s game against Manchester United and the Frenchman will also miss the games against QPR and also Wigan.
Any of Lukas Podolski, Gervinho or Theo Walcott could start in place of Giroud. Arsene Wenger has stated his desire to give Podolski more chances through the middle and now might be the perfect chance to do so.
