Eastmond agrees Colchester move
By Tom Humphrey
Arsenal’s Craig Eastmond has agreed to join Colchester United on a two-year contract this summer. Eastmond’s deal at the Emirates Stadium is up this summer and he will go to Colchester on a free transfer.
Eastmond made his first-team debut in October 2009 against Liverpool in the League Cup and he went on to make 10 appearances for the first-team, including one in the Champions League against Shakhtar Donetsk in November 2010, a game he scored an own goal in.
Since last playing for the first-team in 2010/11, Eastmond has had loan spells at Millwall, Wycombe and Colchester. Colchester liked what they saw obviously, as they have signed him on a permanent basis.
