Chamakh linked with Bordeaux return

Arsenal flop Marouane Chamakh is being linked with a return to Bordeaux. Chamakh joined the Gunners on a free transfer when his contract at Bordeaux expired in 2010.
Chamakh had a successful spell in France for 8 years, winning the French Ligue 1 title in 2009 with Bordeaux and impressing in the Champions League for them. He had a great start to his Arsenal career before losing form and never really recovering. In the last couple of seasons he has rarely played or scored, his last goals for the club came in the 7-5 League Cup win at Reading when he scored twice.
The Moroccan international spent the last half of last season on loan at West Ham, but only featured 3 times due to Andy Carroll returning from injury.
I think a move back home to Bordeaux would do Chamakh the world of good. I actually hope it happens for him. He was a good footballer, he just lost his way and perhaps in the end couldn’t cope with the demands of the English game.
Marouane Chamakh could return to Bordeaux in the summer.
