Hamburg loan Djourou

Johan Djourou has completed his loan move to Hamburg. The Swiss defender will spend the 2013/14 season on loan at Hamburg and the German club have the option to buy him the following summer.
Djourou has fallen out of favour at Arsenal and spent the last half of the season on loan in Germany with Hannover. Hannover were interested in signing Djourou for the upcoming season, but couldn’t compete with Hamburg.
Hamburg’s official Twitter page posted this picture (below) of Djourou holding a Hamburg shirt, so it appears as if the deal has gone through.
