Roma in Gervinho transfer talks
By Tom Humphrey
Arsenal and Roma are believed to be discussing a possible deal that would see Gervinho end his 2 year spell at Arsenal and move to the Italian giants.
Gervinho arrived at Arsenal in the summer of 2011 with a big reputation, having scored many goals in France, particularly in his final year at Lille. The Ivorian has failed to live up to expectations so far at Arsenal though and a move to Roma could suit him, with his former Lille manager Rudi Garcia having been appointed the new Roma manager back in June.
It is thought that he is keen to bring Gervinho in and Arsenal seem willing to listen to offers. It is thought that a deal could be struck at around £7m, with Arsenal having paid Lille £10.5m for him just two years ago.
