Arsenal drawn away to West Brom in third round of League Cup

Arsenal have been handed a tricky away trip to West Brom in the third round of this year’s Capital One Cup. The draw was made last night following the conclusion of the second round ties.

The tie is one of five all Premier League ties in the third round and will be the first of two visits to the Hawthorns in a two week period. Arsenal are playing West Brom away on 6th October and this tie is due to be played on either the 24th or 25th September.

Arsenal will be hoping to lift the League Cup for the first time in 21 years this season, with their last triumph coming in the 1993 Final against Sheffield Wednesday.

West Brom and Arsenal have been drawn together in the third round of the Capital One Cup.
