Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to make World Cup
After a disappointing and scrappy game against Honduras in Miami last night there seems to be some good news for England, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain looks set to be fit for the World Cup.
The Arsenal winger had been expected to miss out on at least the first few games but seems to have recovered quicker than expected, although some will feel that keeping a player with a niggling injury in the squad may do more harm than good.

Roy Hodgson put claims that the Ox would not make the World Cup to bed with a simple statement to the BBC ,”I think he will make the tournament without a shadow of a doubt. That’s good news.” After England’s lacklustre performance it seems that Hodgson will need all the attacking help he can muster simply because England have a lack of creativity going forward.
The one player who has consistently looked exciting for England has been Ross Barkley, who’s forward runs give England some much needed impetus when on the attack. Other players seems to be scared of losing the ball rather than confident they can do damage with it, and I think the Everton man could have a bigger impact on England’s campaign that most people realise.
Daniel Sturridge didn’t seem to shoulder the responsibility of being England’s main strike man last night, especially after he came under some physical challenges from the Honduran players. Hodgson will want players to step into the limelight and relish tough challenges, not shy away from them for fear of doing wrong.
