Fantasy Football – Week 2
If you’re at all up to date with American sports you’ll know that American Fantasy ‘Football’ is all the rage at the moment, but we’re going to talk about the real Fantasy Football with a look at our Fantasy League.
Top of the League
Unfortunately I am not top of the league I set up, languishing down in 24th with only 49 points from the first match. Congratulations to Gower Gunner, managed by Mark O’Neil, for leading the way to start off with on 71 points with a wonderful 34 points from 3 of his midfield choices.
Big picks for this weekend
Chelsea players. Looking at the way that they played after they went down to Burnley Leicester have to be worried that they will be lucky to come away from Stamford Bridge conceding anything less that three goals. Spurs players may also be a good pick because their opponents QPR looked anything but comfortable with life back in the Premier League.

Players to avoid
Unless you have a crystal ball, it’s not worth having Liverpool or Manchester City defenders for this week because it could well be a high scoring match at the City of Manchester stadium, with no easy prediction of who will come out on top. Also, as above, avoid Leicester players because I can’t see them scoring and I don’t see them troubling Courtois.
Picking your captain could be an interesting choice, with last week a lot of people selecting Rooney to receive double points. However if everyone is captaining the same person then no-one benefits or loses out. Choose carefully.
