Aaron Ramsey Makes Arsenal Sweat on Injury
Arsenal fans have been left to fear for Aaron Ramsey’s fitness after he limped off in injury time in Wales’ 2-1 victory over Andorra after turning his ankle under pressure. Arsenal fans are now being told they must wait at least 24 hours to find out his fate.
Will Aaron Ramsey be fully fit to play all 90 minutes against Manchester City?
Aaron Ramsey was key to Arsenal’s title push last season and with the critical home tie against Manchester City this weekend many Arsenal fans, as well as manager Arsene Wenger, will be hoping that he will be fighting fit to take his place in the midfield.
Arsenal struggled without Ramsey at the start of the calendar year and they must be worried about the possible length of Ramsey’s absence and the possible effect that him not lining up will have on Saturday’s match.
Without Aaron Ramsey Arsenal still have a strong line-up but they will lose one of their creative sparks and also one of the few players that knows exactly when he needs to pop up with a goal. He contributes so much for the team and his passing and movement is second to none in the arsenal team, and Arsenal could struggle to damage the Manchester City defence without him.

At the moment however it does look like he will play at least some part, news would have been likely to sneak out if he had something more serious than simply twisting his ankle. He has also claimed on twitter that he “should be alright” for the City game.
However it does highlight how vulnerable some of our best players to injuries are, and playing on that God awful 3G pitch in Andorra was a massive risk for the Welsh team. Bale also complained about the state of the pitch, claiming it was the worst he had ever played on.
