Arsenal Injury News: The Latest Update on Jack Wilshere

facebooktwitterreddit

Jack Wilshere was unable to suit up against Burnley over the weekend with a knee injury, but the report was that it wasn’t too serious of an issue, and he should be back for Sunday’s clash with Swansea, and possibly even Tuesday against Anderlecht.

Well, we’ve been told that Wilshere will not be ready against Anderlecht, but not because of his knee.

In a bit of good news, Wilshere is only going to miss because he’s a tad ill at the moment and he has been for the past few days. This means that his knee is better and he’s fit, it just isn’t good timing for him to get sick.

Wilshere has been coming into his own this season, living up to a lot of the potential that’s been heaped on him and really dictating play for many of the matches he’s taken part in. While he’s still had a few niggling injuries and a few lackluster performances, consistency will come with time and with each passing cap, he’s becoming more and more consistent.

I cannot wait to get him back in the lineup alongside Ramsey and do away with Flamini and Arteta. Wilshere and Ramsey are the future of our midfield and they need to start meshing together and building chemistry because as stats show, Ramsey may be better with Wilshere off the pitch, and I don’t much like the sound of that.

All of the injured Gunners are progressing magnificently. Hopefully Walcott will be able to start Tuesday and now that we know Wilshere will be back against Swansea (barring any setbacks), we have plenty to look forward to.
