Calum Chambers, Kieran Gibbs, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain,Theo Walcott, Danny Welbeck, Jack Wilshere: The most heavily represented club on the English National squad. Arsenal had six key players representing England in in the 3-1 win over Slovenia. Welbeck, Wilshere and Gibbs all played a full 90 minutes, with Welbeck netting twice. Oxlade-Chamberlain came on for the last six minutes. Next they play Scotland on the 18th.
Alexis Sanchez: The Chilean spark plug already helped his country destroy Venezuela 5-0. He played 85 minutes and tallied a goal. Next up: Uruguay on November 19th.
Joel Campbell: Campbell played 86 minutes for Costa Rica against Uruguay and tallied an assist. Costa Rica ended up winning on penalties, 3-3.
Wojciech Szczesny: The Polish keeper played all 90 minutes of his country’s 4-0 win over Georgia. Next up: Switzerland on November 17th.
Lukas Podolski: He may be a want-away, but he’s still a Gunner, and he played a full 90 for Germany, notching an assist in the World Cup Champions 4-0 dismembering of Gibraltar. Next up: Spain on November 18th.
Carl Jenkinson: Played the full 90 for the English U-21’s and added a goal for good measure as they defeated Portugal 3-1. Next up: France on November 17th.
Yaya Sanogo: Captained the France U21’s as they drew against the Italy U-21’s, 1-1. Next up: England on November 17th.
Santi Cazorla: Santi Cazorla played 69 minutes in Spain’s 3-0 win over Belarus and tallied an assist. Next up: Germany on November 19th
Aaron Ramsey: Aaron Ramsey played the full 90 minutes of Wales 0-0 draw against Belgium.
Tomas Rosicky: Rosicky was subbed off in stoppage time during the Czech Republic’s 2-1 win over Iceland.
There you have the international break round up. Say prayers that no Gunners bite the dust like Mesut Ozil and Laurent Kocielny did (before they even set foot on the pitch, no less.)
