Edinson Cavani Urging PSG to Let Him Move to Arsenal?
By Josh Sippie
Okay, so I know everyone is probably sick of hearing about Edinson Cavani and any slim possibility of him moving to Arsenal, but we may have just been given some seriously good news.
The Express is reporting that the Uruguayan striker is asking PSG to lower his asking price so that Arsenal (and other English clubs) can have a crack at him. However, his preference is Arsenal. Why?
Arsene Wenger!

Not only that, but Cavani is reportedly wishing to follow Alexis Sanchez to the Emirates. Alexis has said on numerous occasions that it was Wenger who was the final piece that coaxed him to North London. Now, Cavani is saying the same. Perhaps we can be a bit too hard on Wenger at times.
Cavani wishes to work alongside the Chilean attacker and who can blame him? He’s one of the most on-point players in the world at the moment.
However, the question again becomes plausibility. Arsene Wenger has overstated his opinion on transfers and the January transfer window specifically, but he has made the infamous statement that Arsenal will get the right players when they become available.
Well, a player like Cavani is always the right player and to return him to his natural position could reap immense benefits.
The current tag is set at 50 million pounds, but it’s that price that Cavani is supposedly trying to get lowered to make him more accessible.
This is the first bit of news out of the Edinson Cavani transfer saga that’s actually getting my hopes up. There are still quite a few missing links to connect this chain, but it is making itself into a formidable rumor.
