VIDEO: Aaron Ramsey Back to Dominant Self After Rocket Goal

Aaron Ramsey has been steadily getting back to where he was last year after a fit of injuries to begin the year. He put himself over the top with this brilliant volley to put Arsenal up 3-0. Take a look:

The goal is already going viral, as well it should be. It was a perfect goal, plain and simple. The Welshman took the ball from mid bounce and just deposited it past Bolat, who was completely helpless to stop it.

This should be all that’s required to get the Welshman back into form and firing on all cylinders in all competitions. He also chipped in an assist on Lukas Podolski’s first goal and had four key passes. A couple other assists should have been had as well.

In short, Ramsey made himself man of the match in just one half of play. After giving the ball away in the first couple seconds of the game, he failed to record a single mistake. Every ball was spot on, every attempt on goal was brilliant.

He came off at half due to a tight hamstring. We just need to cross our fingers and hope it’s nothing and that he’ll be ready to come back at the weekend and put in a couple more goals like this against Newcastle. I think it’s safe to say that all that criticism of Aaron Ramsey can finally stop.
