Edinson Cavani: The FACTS About His Rumored Arsenal Move

Following the win at QPR, Arsene Wenger spoke to the media regarding rumors surrounding Lukas Podolski. He went on to make an example of Edinson Cavani, telling reporters: “I don’t give any importance to rumours. There was a rumour two days ago in France that I offered £62 million for Cavani from Paris Saint-Germain. Everyday there is a different rumour so I don’t give importance to that.”
While I’m always hesitant to really read into comments made by Wenger, given his penchant for buggery, he at least acknowledged that Cavani is alive, and that’s really all we can take from it.
