Fabian Schar – Likelihood: 5/10

I’m not giving up on the move, even tough there has been no mention of it since the Metro’s piece on why he’d be perfect for Arsenal (a sentiment I completely agree with).

Schar is young and he has the potential to be elite. He’s got the same physical qualities of Laurent Kocielny and the instincts of a world-class defender. He’s what we in the business call a “perfect” signing.

Schar’s contract expires this summer and no extension is being moved towards, so it only makes sense to cash in on him now. A move to Arsenal would further the young man’s career and seriously bolster a shaky Arsenal defense.
