William Carvalho – Likelihood: 4/10

Something tells me that Arsene Wenger is still not serious about signing a defensive midfielder. He never has seemed to keen too do so, and with the good form of Francis Coquelin, Wenger may feel like he’s solved the crisis. Well, he hasn’t, but who am I to tell Wenger that?

William Carvalho was all but a guarantee to sign for Arsenal this summer, but he decided to stay in Portugal. But now that the window is opening again, he’s yet again being linked with a move to the Emirates. Reports from HITC Sports indicate he’d cost a pretty penny over 20 million pounds to sign, but that Arsenal could still be favorites.

Well, that’s odd, seeing as how our “budget” is only 20 million pounds.
