Arsenal Transfer News: Gundogan, Brozovic and More!
By Josh Sippie
Hector Moreno
Behold, a defender!
Are you like me, wondering why Arsenal are linked, or even rumored to be linked, with literally zero defenders so far this transfer window? While it may be a great sign, knowing Wenger, it’s still a little unnerving.
From Cavani to Dybala to Reus and everything in between, everything ties us to what we don’t need.
But Moreno is a defender! And a talented one at that. At 26-years old, he already has a very impressive resume, capping 56 times for the Mexican National team.
A centre back, which we sorely need, Moreno would provide excellent cover for Per Mertesacker and Laurent Kocielny, as he has pretty decent size. (6’0″ and 176 pounds).
Any defender is a welcome addition at this point, so bring him on!
