As soon as I saw the mention of Nainggolan, I immediately was enamored with the prospect. Nainggolan looks and plays the part of a hard-nosed, no nonsense midfield enforcer. He isn’t sized like your prototypical deep-lying midfielder, but Arsene Wenger never liked those big hulking mids, so maybe the prospect of having a smaller mid play the role would be appealing to him.

What isn’t going to be appealing is the 26 million pounds he’s said to cost, and the fact that Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea are also interested in the Belgian’s services.

I don’t fancy the likelihood of this transfer, but I’ll tell you this much, I’m going to go sign him on FIFA right now.
