Just because the transfer window is closed doesn’t mean Arsenal transfer rumors aren’t alive and well. After all, the summer transfer window is only about four and a half months away.

As a squad, the Gunners have very few holes in their current first-team. Gabriel Paulista was an excellent signing who has potential to shine at Arsenal and he’s there to provide much needed coverage. Not only that, but Carl Jenkinson is due back this summer and, depending on Arsene Wenger’s plans, he could provide even more coverage at the back.

But even with a lack of need, Arsenal transfer rumors are a pesky bunch, and there are plenty of overpriced, near-impossible links that are connected to Arsenal, some new ones, some that have been around since the dawn of time.

So let’s take a look at each one individually and decide for ourselves which, if any, moves we could see happening.
