Arsenal have been linked to Alves for quite awhile too. Given that he’s 31 and going to be out of contract this summer though, it’s unlikely that Wenger will extend a hand his way for anything more than a mentor role.
However, with Hector Bellerin being a former Barcelona product, he could take immense benefits from learning under Alves. But Alves wants to play, and with Mathieu Debuchy, Hector Bellerin and possibly Carl Jenkinson all hanging out at right back, Alves will have a tough time squeezing into the starting XI.
