Conclusion

Does there really need to be a conclusion? All I did was speculate potential vs the past and the past always wins out because it’s already happened.

My point in writing this was to give some perspective on how the shape of our current club stands and where it could stand given the proper health and coaching.

We have a really good squad. A really good one. But injuries have hampered the progress of some of our brightest prospects like Jack Wilshere, Theo Walcott, Aaron Ramsey and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

We don’t know where their careers will end up, but we do know what they are capable of, and that should be enough to get you excited.

The Invincible 2003/4 squad was the greatest Arsenal team ever construed, so for Arsene Wenger to come out and say that this squad has the potential to be even close to them is a huge testament to what we have.

Be optimistic Arsenal fans. We’re in third place, we’re getting healthy, and we have a great young squad.
